Capabilities
James Steel and Tube Company has been servicing customers for over 50 years in round, square, rectangular and custom shaped tubing. All of our tubing is produced to the ASTM A-500 and A-513 specifications. In addition to our standard tubing product line we now have the capabilities to produce 1-1/4″, 1-1/2″ and 2″ schedule 10 and 40 pipe as well as 6-5/8″ OD tubing.
James Steel has has re-cut capabilities for all sizes produced in our Madison Heights Facility. We operate several cutting machines capable of meeting our customers cut length requirements and we maintain our own slitting machine to give us more flexability in scheduling and quicker reaction time to customers needs
Tube Mills:
- 4X Abbey Etna producing up to 4″ square in wall thickness from 14 ga through 7 ga
- 6X Abbey Etna producing larger sections (up to 5″ square and 6″ x 4″ rectangles) in wall thickness to .250″
